This is one of our favourite restaurants in Reading. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, so here's our view. We've been regular customers since mid-2023 and haven't had a bad meal or experience. The service is great, it's quick, polite and accommodating. You are greeted and seated on entry, however it gets busy on the weekends! The food is very nice and the portions are good too. Our go-to meals are chicken katsu curry and duck teriyaki don. You order via the QR code (either a-la-carte or bottomless menu).
Had our Mother’s Day dinner here last Saturday and we had bottomless/buffet. It’s our first time here and please to say we will be coming back again in near future. Food was good and portions were generous.
Delicious sushi. Really quick service great portion sizes and really cheap! We didn’t feel like we needed the bottomless !
Half price at lunch time. Great food definitely worth a visit with great value for money. We ordered so much food 2 katsu curries, 6 salmon sushi, 6 tuna sushi, 2 duck cones and it cost only £30
The staff was so nice and funny. Our food arrived fast even when the whole restaurant was full. They took amazing care of me and my friends. It was one of the best birthday meals I had.

Enjoyed a half price lunch there. Food is OK in taste and if you consider also the price it's worth a visit. Not quite "authentic" Japanese but not bad. The staff were "a bit shy" but when we asked about if we should go bottomless, they made a fair suggestion that as kids are charged at the same price maybe the half priced lunch suits us more. And it turned out she was correct. Appreciated about the honesty.
